Our Philosophy

We approach every new project and client with the intention of building and maintaining a lifelong relationship. We firmly believe that clear communication is the basis of a successful project.

The Experience

From our first meeting, we define a path forward to create reliability and predictability throughout the project. We invest as much time as needed to develop the project in a collaborative environment. We understand and appreciate that a building project of any size is a major investment and we work diligently to earn and maintain your trust. We establish a schedule for construction with the intention of completing your project as efficiently as possible with minimal delays. We walk through the project with you and ensure that everything is completed 100% to your satisfaction and offer a 2 year warranty on all of our work.

Our Promise

  • reliable and predictable
  • collaborative environment
  • trusthworthy team
  • established schedule
  • 100% satisfaction
  • 2 year warranty

We go the extra mile to ensure a positive experience!

Design

Good design does not equal expensive design. From the very first, we will work with you to define a reasonable budget for your project. You won’t find a book of floor plans to choose from – we start every project with a blank sheet of paper and work with you to define your needs and then design your project. We expect to conduct several iterations and refinements as the design develops to arrive at an ideal solution that matches your vision and budget. We work in a broad variety of media from hand sketching to state of the art 3-D digital modeling to help you fully visualize and comprehend the final project before we ever cut a board.

How We Build

We are firmly committed to doing things the right way and the smart way. We approach each project as a system – not just an assembly of parts. The basic function of any building is to keep the occupants warm and dry. We address the three major systems that accomplish this end – the air barrier, the thermal envelope and the bulk water management system. The air barrier keeps conditioned air in (and outside air out), the thermal envelope (insulation) maintains a comfortable interior temperature and the bulk water management system (roof and exterior walls) keeps the water out.

We spend the time necessary to ensure each of these critical systems functions properly and continually update our process to reflect industry best practices. We incorporate mechanical systems including energy recovery ventilation and source control (direct venting) to ensure that our highly energy efficient homes provide superior indoor air quality. We reject that notion that energy efficient design is too expensive or too hard – it is the right thing to do. Through this understanding, we are able to provide a far superior product with minimal impact to your bottom line.
